Romantic Wedding Photography at Stanlake Park, Berkshire

Venues, Weddings

There’s something magical about a heritage vineyard wedding venue, and Stanlake Park in Twyford, Berkshire, offers a stunning backdrop for timeless wedding photography. I had the pleasure of photographing Rosie and Steven’s summer wedding here, and the layout of the venue made every shot effortless and unique.

Stanlake Park’s combination of manicured gardens, vineyard rows, and rustic barns provides a variety of photographic opportunities.

Starting with The Coach House – a gorgeous, grade-II listed, eighteenth-century barn which has a capacity of 90 guests with views overlooking the sprawling grounds which allow for natural light-filled portraits among the vines.

With its ancient wisteria, well-kept lawn, and spacious feel, The Courtyard is the ideal spot for guests to relax and enjoy drinks and canapés, post-ceremony.  The historic barn and terraces create elegant, structured compositions. It really has it all!

The venue’s versatility means couples can enjoy relaxed candid shots as well as classic formal portraits, all within walking distance, making the day flow smoothly.

Perfect Settings for Your Wedding Photos

From the vine-covered pathways to the charming lakeside areas, Stanlake Park is a photographer’s dream. For Rosie and Steven, we began with light-filled shots near the vineyard, capturing the golden summer glow. The terraces and open lawns offered a perfect space for family and group photos, while the intimate corners of the gardens provided a romantic setting for couple portraits. The venue’s layout allows photographers to move seamlessly between spaces, capturing the day’s energy without losing any precious moments.

Rosie and Steven’s wedding was made even more personal with family involvement—her mother crafted the flowers, and his mother made the wedding cake—adding unique, heartfelt details to capture in every frame.

Their engagement session on the south coast in Fareham also allowed me to understand their personalities, creating natural, emotive images on the day.

Your Berkshire Wedding Photographer at Stanlake Park

Choosing a skilled wedding photographer is key to preserving the memories of your day. As a professional Berkshire wedding photographer, I focus on capturing genuine moments and the beauty of both the couple and the venue. Whether it’s the sweeping views of Stanlake Park’s vineyard or the intimate laughter shared between family and friends, each image tells your story.

Rosie and Steven discovered me through the Hitched wedding directory, and we worked closely with top local suppliers, including Ever After Wedding Styling, A Finishing Touch for hair and make-up, and Romsey Bridal Boutique for her Maggie Sottero dress.

Stanlake Park is more than just a venue—it’s a canvas for creating romantic, unforgettable images. If you’re planning a wedding here, your photography should highlight every exquisite corner of this Berkshire gem.

Annabel was a great photographer at our wedding – she was not only on time (key for all of those early “getting-ready” snaps that us girls love), but she also made everyone feel so at ease throughout the day!

From the first moment we spoke to her we knew we were in good hands. The best part was that Annabel sent us a checklist of things that we should think about before we had even booked our venue (!) – the list was not only helpful in picking out what style of photos we wanted, but it pretty much helped us arrange the whole wedding day and allowed us to think about all of those little touches! I would highly recommend Annabel if you are looking for a professional, easy going and friendly photographer to take those special moment photos during your day that you don’t even notice are being taken. Thank you Annabel – we absolutely love our photos”.
