Awberry Farm’s stunning 18th‑century barn steals the show. With Majestic oak beams, festoon lights, and enough space for 120 seated guests, it’s a Berkshire wedding photographer’s dream. And that’s before we step into the Owl Gallery: a cosy, beautifully lit room overlooking sweeping countryside vistas beneath a grand oak tree – perfect for capturing intimate portraits.

Just a stone’s throw from Newbury, this venue offers picturesque scenes at every turn. The English country cottage garden – Ideal for candid bridal prep shots. The Fizz & Cocktail Garden a sunny, relaxed area perfect for lifestyle group portraits. And with no shortage of eco-conscious, reclaimed décor, every corner tells a story of rustic elegance.
Awberry Farm Wedding: A venue that keeps on giving
I first visited in autumn of 2024 and was delighted to return recently for the style photo shoot. The space has been beautifully nurtured by owners Nigel and Una, who’ve transformed this once working farm into an immersive wedding venue, infused with personal charm. Whether you’re seeking to say “I do” under oak canopies, dance beneath the barn’s fairy lights, or sip cocktails in the courtyard, every moment is picture-perfect. They only host 28 Saturday weddings a year, ensuring your big day feels deeply personal.
