This Lainston House wedding photography in Winchester Hampshire was a joy to photograph for Faye and Ben. They were married in August, late summer in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the pavilion on the lawns in the grounds of this stunning Georgian style wedding venue..
Faye and Ben met at university and have been together since then. I was very pleased to be a small part of their celebration of love and unity.
Faye and Ben’s Lainston House Wedding Day
Summer weddings at Lainston House are always stunning and this day was no exception. It was a gorgeous day with beautiful blue skies, making it the perfect backdrop to their wedding memories.
Summer outdoor wedding ceremony in Hampshire
Faye’s attention to detail was excellent with a floral palette of pastels featuring blush pink roses, baby blue hydrangeas, and pale mauve delphiniums. Lainston House is a charming 17th century William and Mary country mansion situated in Winchester, located in 63 acres of picturesque Hampshire parkland.
Faye wore a romantic style Essence of Australia dress, and I was spoiled as a wedding photographer. After all, there’s nothing better than the combination of a breath-taking venue, and a stunning bride. I was never at a loss for something amazing to photograph.
And whilst its lovely to have such beauty to work with, we must not forget a wedding is about the people and the celebration.
A delicious 3 course wedding breakfast was served in the Dawley Barn and It was plain to see that their friends and family were thrilled for them and ready to show it with hilarious moments, the best man let off a confetti cannon for the first dance!
And there was a nod to Ben’s Italian heritage. One of the Italian traditions is that guests bang their glasses with a spoon to encourage the bride and groom to kiss! As you can imagine the guests loved doing this several times during the wedding breakfast! Such a fun tradition.
